Job Title: EQA Information Strategy Analyst-Senior

Worksite Location: 511 Farber Lakes Drive, Buffalo, NY 14221

Job Description

Conducting cross-environment validation between QA, UAT, and production, adhering to established Enterprise Quality Assurance Plan and providing feedback and suggestions on improvements. Writing and executing complex SQL queries to perform data validation, reconciliation, and comparison of large datasets across environments. Adhere to established EDW and ETL SDLC and Corrective Action guidelines and provide feedback and suggestions for improvements. Provide assistance/on the job training for querying capabilities to EQA Resources as requested and training support teams on various business processes and developing efficient problem management procedures. Function as Enterprise Quality Assurance Lead on selected projects, operational procedures (such as functionality implementation, Change Management, monitoring, etc.) and release tasks utilizing project management skills. Lead the team in the approval of the Test Approach, Test Criteria, Tasks, schedule for Strategic Projects based on approved requirements and ensure test plans and schedules reflect the necessary activities and durations to achieve the defined requirement and objectives following available standards and guidelines. Participating in Peer and Solution review of Business and Technical Specifications effecting designated areas of expertise and provide feedback to improve clarity of the specifications and usability of the functionality by analyzing and identifying all issues in requirements and design. Using SQL, Python or ETL testing frameworks to support regression and data comparison testing and completing Project Test Plan to specify the Test Approach, Test Criteria, Tasks, Schedule, etc. for Strategic Projects based on approved Requirements and ensure test plans and schedules reflect the necessary activities and durations to achieve the defined requirement and objectives following available standards and guidelines. Designing and reviewing detailed Test Cases based on approved requirements ensuring that business and functional requirements are properly represented. Ensuring data transformations comply with HIPAA and PHI and that only minimum necessary PHI is sent to external vendors to reduce/eliminate HIPAA violations or reputational damage to IHA. Monitoring test activities performed by the Business Testers. Schedule and track testing progress. Review Test Outcomes and recommend additional action required and assisting to provide resolution and perform various tests on software to resolve all issues. Responsible for documentation, reproduction, repair, testing, and verification of defects pre-production and post-production. Organizing and leading QA, Testing, and Defect Meetings when necessary. Assisting in Deployment planning, creation, and execution of the Post Installation verification process. Participate in Post Installation Support by assisting the business as required by the specific project. Writing complex SQL queries in Oracle SQL developer and participate in effective post-release/implementation metrics and analysis to enhance implementations. Identifying and tracking defects using ALM or Azure DevOps while ensuring all test tools, specifically ADO(Azure DevOps), are being utilized for all activities surrounding EQA, testing, and defect management. Performing data validation in Azure Fabric, verifying ingestion, transformation, and output across workspaces to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business rules. Assisting with the development of the Enterprise Quality Assurance (EQA) Metrics Plan to measure the effectiveness of the EQA IS Processes. Leading, mentoring, and training IT, EQA, and Business colleagues involved in Enterprise Quality Assurance and Testing activities. Creating and distributing EQA Status Reports for assigned projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus two (2) years' experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

Using SQL, Python or ETL testing frameworks to support regression and data comparison testing. Ensuring data transformations comply with HIPAA and PHI. Base Salary: $102,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F

In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
