Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Kafka and TIBCO Administrator with strong production support, troubleshooting, and team lead experience to own and support mission-critical integration platforms built on Confluent Kafka and TIBCO BusinessWorks, EMS, and Java.
The role requires deep hands-on expertise, incident leadership, and mentoring of L1/L2 teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as SME for TIBCO Admin, Hawk, RV, BW, EMS, and related middleware platforms
  • Lead resolution of P1/P2 production incidents and conduct detailed RCA
  • Installation, Administration, and support of TIBCO BW (5.x), EMS, Admin / RV/ Hawk
  • Perform JVM, performance, and capacity tuning (Flow Limit, MaxJobs, heap, GC)
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving messaging, transactions, threading, and memory
  • Lead incident bridges, ensure clear communication, and drive closure
  • Mentor and guide L1/L2 support teams, review escalations and RCA quality
  • Define and improve operational processes, runbooks, and monitoring
  • Coordinate with application, infrastructure, security, and vendor (TIBCO) teams
  • Monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, Grafana)
  • Core Java Experience will be added advantage
  • Strong handson experience with Apache Kafka (administration & operations).
  • Experience managing Kafka in both onprem and cloud environments.
  • Solid expertise in Ansible and Terraform.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, ELK, etc.).
  • Good understanding of Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
Ability to troubleshoot complex Kafka and infrastructure issues

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Confluent Kafka and TIBCO Administration / Production Support
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Confluent Kafka 7.X
    • TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW 5.x / BW 6.x)
    • TIBCO EMS
    • TIBCO Admin / RV / Hawk
  • Strong Java & JVM fundamentals
    • Thread dumps (jstack), heap dumps (jmap), GC analysis
  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments
  • Proven experience in L3 support and incident management
  • Team lead / mentoring experience in 24O7 production environments
Education & Experience (in lieu)

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 100,000.00 - 170,500.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
