What We Need:
We are looking for a Compensation and Analytics Manager to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team.
The Compensation and Analytics Manager is responsible for designing and managing compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate talent while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness. This role leads HR analytics initiatives, providing data-driven insights to support workforce planning, compensation strategy, and organizational decision-making.
What You Will Do:
- Design and develop comprehensive and competitive compensation models and programs aligned with the organization's strategic planning using data-based metrics.
- Conduct regular and on-going analysis of compensation and incentive plans to ensure the organization's competitive position in each segment and market and provide actionable insights.
- Proactively identify gaps and propose scalable, sustainable solutions.
- Manage and uphold compliance with HNI's defined job architecture, including grading structures and pay bands for existing and new job evaluations.
- Provide compensation recommendations for internal and external candidates using internal equity and external benchmarking.
- Own the annual merit process and partner with MCR Business Partners to deliver seamless execution in alignment with major stakeholders.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on compensation philosophy and decision-making.
- Analyze workforce metrics to deliver data supported insights driving informed and strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports that provide functional leaders with actionable, meaningful insights.
- Represent the WPF Commercial division on enterprise level compensation workstreams.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and provide communication to impacted populations.
- Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
What You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field required.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in compensation management, total rewards, or HR/business analytics required; 8 years of experience preferred.
