Position Summary

You will lead the US marketing strategy for GSK's adult vaccines portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional partners across commercial, medical, access, regulatory, and global teams. Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include:

  • Set and deliver the US marketing strategy and operating plan for the adult vaccines portfolio.

  • Lead the US Adult Vaccines Marketing function, with four direct reports at senior director level and a total team of 20+.

  • Lead a cross-functional, matrixed team and coordinate with global commercial and development partners.

  • Own portfolio P&L, forecasting and budget allocation to drive sustained growth and efficient investment.

  • Define customer insights, segmentation, positioning, messaging and multi-channel activation to improve adult immunization rates.

  • Manage external agency partnerships and vendor relationships to create clear, measurable campaigns and content.

  • Build and develop a high-performing, inclusive team and strengthen marketing capabilities for the US vaccines business.

Basic Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, public health or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in life sciences sales/marketing, including minimum of 4 years marketing leadership responsibility.
  • Experience in Vaccines.
  • Experience in US healthcare.
  • Direct people management experience and matrix team leadership.
  • Experience as a second-line leader.
  • Experience leading US brand strategy, pipeline planning, and adapting global strategies for successful launches and sustained growth.
  • P&L ownership experience.
  • Broader functional experience outside of marketing (for example in sales, market access, account management, strategy etc.)
Preferred Criteria
  • Proven ability to drive marketing innovation and create a competitive advantage
  • Deep understanding of the US market, with experience across multiple therapy areas and business models.
  • Demonstrated impact across different business models and customer types (i.e. Specialty, Retail & Consumer)
  • Able to apply insights on evolving healthcare trends, provider behavior, payer dynamics and pricing to shape strategy and inform decisions.
  • Leads with integrity, driving smart risk management, and ethical performance, ensuring full compliance with regulations and internal codes.
  • Successfully led through critical stages, shaping decisions beyond launches and in-line growth (for example pipeline shaping, early commercialization or portfolio optimization).
  • Attracts and builds a strong talent pipeline with potential for senior commercial roles, manages underperformance, provides actionable feedback and has difficult conversations when needed.
  • Able to maximizes ROI through strategic leadership in AI, data, and digital innovation to deliver transformative, high-impact results and competitive advantage.
  • Drives and rewards an inclusive high-performance culture rooted in psychological safety. Leads through complexity, maintains focus and delivers results amid ambiguity and change.
  • Makes well-informed complex decisions, empowering leaders with clear ownership and accountability.
  • Drives alignment and outcomes across complex, enterprise-wide environments through trust, expertise, and strategic influence.
  • Navigates cross-functional dynamics to deliver enterprise-wide initiatives at pace and scale.
  • Experience of leading change initiative(s) resulting in positive long-term impact.
  • Executive presence and platform skills, with the ability to inspire audiences, clearly convey complex ideas, anticipate challenges and secure senior stakeholder alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to earn broad followership across commercial functions, being sought out for input or leadership outside direct span of control

  • Breadth and depth of Scientific Literacy.
