Description

Markon is seeking a Systems Architect (SME) to support Agile project execution, logistics coordination, and technical team operations. This role requires strong experience in Agile methodologies, ServiceNow, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful delivery and operational efficiency.



Responsibilities

    Facilitate and lead daily Scrum meetings to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage sprints, epics, and user stories within ServiceNow.
  • Track and manage project tasks in ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives.
  • Submit procurement requests through customer systems to support project needs.
  • Maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, organization, and timely restocking.
  • Oversee routing of procured equipment to the stockroom and prepare equipment for site deployment.
  • Coordinate with Logistics to manage accountable property movements and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Manage vendor relationships and support effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in vendor and Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), capturing notes and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Maintain and update the team Confluence site to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • Demonstrated experience leading daily scrums and managing Agile processes (sprints, epics, user stories) using tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Proven ability to manage project tasks, timelines, and workflows within project management systems.
  • Experience with procurement processes and submitting orders through customer systems.
  • Background in warehouse inventory management, including tracking and restocking equipment.
  • Familiarity with accountable property procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with vendors, including participation in technical and coordination meetings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including maintaining collaboration tools such as Confluence.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in tracking inventory, equipment, and procurement activities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, logistics, and procurement teams.
  • Agile certification required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience (19+ years total experience with at least 16 years of relevant experience).


Salary Range

USD $200,000.00 - USD $2,150,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
