Here is how the Supervisor I/II, Midstream role will impact our business: The Supervisor I/II, Midstreamplays a vital leadership role in overseeing the safe operation, compliance, and performance of EQT's midstream natural gas infrastructure. This position provides direct supervision of field employees responsible for the maintenance of compressors, pipelines, and related equipment, while promoting a culture of safety, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. By fostering strong collaboration with internal technical teams and ensuring timely execution of maintenance and compliance programs, this role ensures the integrity, reliability, and readiness of critical infrastructure across EQT's operating footprint. The Supervisor also plays a key role in emergency response, startup readiness, and field team development. The Supervisor I/II, Midstreamresponsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise field teams performing maintenance and compliance work on compressors, pipelines, and related midstream assets
- Ensure safe and efficient repair and inspection of gathering and jurisdictional lines in accordance with company standards.
- Coordinate with supporting departments to support the design, construction, and startup of new infrastructure projects, ensuring operational requirements are met.
- Oversee the execution of compliance work orders using the Enterprise Asset Management system, maintaining documentation and due date adherence.
- Lead emergency response efforts; provide clear direction, guidance, and role awareness for field personnel during incidents.
- Partner with Compression Technical Services, Engineering, and Automation to optimize equipment health and maintenance strategies.
- Implement corrective actions from root cause analyses, Technical Service Bulletins, and other internal findings.
- Manage and execute storage system maintenance, compliance, and performance optimization activities.
- Administer the damage prevention program, including oversight of state One-Call programs, employee training, mapping accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Required Experience and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical, maintenance, or related fieldwork.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience supervising or directing field employees.
- Familiarity with federal and state pipeline safety standards and permitting processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other equipment interface or diagnostic software platforms.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Familiarity with special tools and equipment, including GPS units, line locators, and diagnostic devices.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Two-year degree in a technical or business-related discipline.
- 3 years of experience in the natural gas industry, with exposure to compression systems, gas-driven engines, and pipeline operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of gas processing, midstream infrastructure, and maintenance practices.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
This is a frontline supervisory role with approximately 25% office time and 75% field time spent directly overseeing field employees within EQT's operating regions in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and Virginia.
Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
