Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $25/hr. to $30hr., depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:



  • Responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of rotating equipment including electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and associated components.
  • This role supports both shop and field service operations, ensuring equipment is restored to OEM specifications and operates safely and efficiently.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on rotating equipment
  • Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild pumps, motors, and gearboxes
  • Perform electrical testing including insulation resistance (megger), winding checks, and continuity testing
  • Troubleshoot motor control systems, starters, and VFDs
  • Conduct alignment (laser/dial), balancing, and vibration checks
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on customer equipment
  • Complete detailed service reports, inspection documentation, and repair recommendations
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.


What You'll Need:



  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in rotating equipment repair, maintenance, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of electric motors (AC/DC), pumps, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)
  • Experience with vibration analysis and predictive maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of VFDs, PLC troubleshooting, or motor controls
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in industrial environments
  • Welding experience is a plus
