GENERAL SUMMARY:

Supports Revenue Cycle leadership including Patient Access leadership through proactive follow-up, rounding, and direct collaboration with BPN Practice Managers to ensure seamless and highquality interactions between the Revenue Cycle team and clinic operations. Serves as the primary point of contact for practice managers, providing clear interpretation of revenue cycle processes-including billing, coding, cash posting, and follow-up-and addressing patient concerns when escalated. Responsible for gathering, interpreting, and communicating information between practice managers and the Revenue Cycle team in an organized, timely, and professional manner. Maintains a high level of accuracy, accountability, and communication in all interactions with BPN leadership.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.

2. *Supports Revenue Cycle leadership including Patient Access leadership through rounding, follow-up, and communication with the BPN Practice Managers to maintain high service standards between the BPN Revenue Cycle Team and clinic operations.

3. *Serves as the primary point of contact for practice managers for revenue cycle and patient access needs.

4. *Assists practice managers in interpreting and navigating revenue cycle functions such as billing, coding, cash posting, and follow-up when questions arise or when patient concerns require resolution

5. *Collaborates with practice managers to resolve patient issues and ensure timely follow-up.

6. *Partners with practice managers and BPN leadership in communicating revenue cycle concerns, trends, and operational performance.

7. Coordinates with appropriate leaders to support the interactions between clinic operations and revenue cycle.

8. Works with Self Pay Business Office (SBO), Information Technology (IT), and other departments to troubleshoot patient issues and system needs.

9. Collaborates with leadership on the development, implementation, and onboarding of new charges and workflows.

10. Acts as the subject matter expert related to new services.

11. Collaborates with the revenue cycle team to monitor payer clearinghouse information.

12. Assists the Revenue Cycle leadership with analysis of the BPN fee schedule development and updating.

13. Participates as a point of contact for payer reimbursement and payer issues.

14. *In collaboration with leaders, monitors patient registration systems and processes to standardize processes, identify errors, exceptions, and discrepancies in the scheduling, and reception/registration process and to bring forward recommendations to the appropriate team(s) for potential system-wide implementation.

15. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.

16. Participates in meetings, committees and department initiatives as assigned.

17. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or accounting required. Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience working in revenue cycle, healthcare finance, or medical billing operations required. Minimum of three (3) years working directly or indirectly with Physician Practice Operations preferred. Experience in a multi-clinic or integrated health system environment preferred.
