Job Description

What You'll Do

  • **Interpret and Execute:** Work directly from engineering drawings and documented instructions, translating technical specifications into precise, high-quality work.
  • **Master Precision Tools:** Confidently use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, mallets) and operate tabletop arbor presses to achieve exact specifications.
  • **Specialize in HELICOIL Installation:** Perform HELICOIL installations with precision, using correct insertion and tang-break tools to ensure lasting component integrity.
  • **Optimize Welding Performance:** Precision grind tungsten electrodes to exacting standards, directly impacting stable arc performance and weld quality.
  • **Handle Advanced Materials:** Safely manage components heated to 200C and parts "shrink-fitted" or chilled using liquid nitrogen-developing expertise in thermal processing techniques.
  • **Apply Industrial Compounds:** Apply industrial epoxies, potting compounds, and paints with full knowledge of curing and safety protocols, ensuring professional-grade results.
  • **Verify Quality and Integrity:** Use precision instruments like micrometers and vernier calipers to verify dimensions, perform visual inspections of weld beads, and operate leak check equipment to guarantee product reliability.
  • **Drive Continuous Improvement:** Adjust machine settings and tooling to stay within quality tolerances, proactively escalating issues to supervisors to drive process improvements.
  • **Leverage Technology:** Use basic computer systems for labor transactions and production tracking, building your technical competency.
Qualifications

What You Bring:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent

* A genuine willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment

* Mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic-the foundation for mastery in precision work

* Attention to detail and pride in producing quality results

* Ability to follow technical documentation and instructions accurately

* Ability to read and understand English

* No prior welding or manufacturing experience required-we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate! If you're eager to build expertise we'll invest in your development.

Hourly Rate Range: $ 20.00 -$24.00 per hour. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
