Epic EHR Support Analyst (ContracttoHire) Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite) Pay Rate: $42-$51/hour Start Date: May 2026 Employment Type: 3 Month ContracttoHire Drug Screen Required About the Role We are seeking an experienced Epic EHR Support Analyst to play a key role in a largescale transition from NextGen to Epic within a healthcare organization supporting 800+ end users. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders and serves as a liaison with an external Epic hosting partner to ensure system functionality aligns with realworld workflows and success metrics. This is a handson support role focused on frontend Epic support, user assistance, and golive readiness-not Epic build. Key Responsibilities * Provide Epic help desk and application support across multiple clinical departments * Perform ticket triage, troubleshooting, and realtime issue resolution * Support UAT testing, workflow validation, and system optimization * Deliver "attheelbow" and golive support to clinical and administrative users * Manage frontend Epic functions such as user access, preference lists, and limited billing workflows * Collaborate with technical teams, reporting teams, and operational leaders to understand workflows and system needs * Assist with training, onboarding, and mentoring of users as needed Required Experience & Skills * 3+ years of Epic or EMR support experience (help desk, support analyst, or similar role) * Experience supporting healthcare workflows and clinical systems * Strong understanding of SDLC, workflows, and UAT testing concepts * Excellent communication skills with the ability to support users live, including phonebased troubleshooting * Solutionoriented mindset with strong customer service skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting OCHIN Epic (highly preferred) * Epic support experience within FQHCs, health systems, or safetynet organizations * EMR/Epic support experience from large healthcare systems (e.g., ambulatory, acute, revenue cycle, or patient access) * Epic Certified Trainer or golive / attheelbow support experience * Experience training providers and clinical staff on EHR systems Note: Epic certification is not required. Candidates with heavy Epic build backgrounds may be overqualified, as this role focuses on support rather than build.
