KPMG is currently seeking an Internal Audit Manager to join our Internal Audit organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a full portfolio of internal audit projects and use knowledge of internal control, risk management, and business processes to carry out a variety of engagements
  • Provide day-to-day management of internal audit engagements across multiple auditees to consistently achieve specific engagement objectives
  • Oversee the development of engagement planning artifacts, including risk-based scoping to ensure appropriate coverage of risks; supervise the timely completion of engagement fieldwork with high quality deliverables and drafting of audit findings
  • Communicate audit execution status to Internal Audit Management, and auditees, as necessary effectively
  • Support the overall evaluation of audit engagement results with Internal Audit Management and contribute to the final reporting to auditees
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to audit associates, including direct supervision, performance management, and career development support
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to contribute to KPMG's respectful and high-performing work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent internal and/or external audit or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; CPA, CIA, CISA (or equivalent) certification is required
  • Strong client services delivery orientation including demonstrated ability to take a primary role executing engagements to internal audit standards
  • Experience leading teams, mentoring staff, evaluating performance and providing performance feedback
  • Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high performing teams to lead/support an environment driven by client service and teamwork
  • Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
