Job Description

Benefits:

Salary:

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $21.00-$24.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Summary:

Performs a range of basic office support activities including customer service support shipping and accounting support.

Essential Functions:

  • Routine customer service support with receivables and payables
  • Pay all vendor invoices, checking for appropriate GL codes, approvals & purchase orders
  • Filing customer, vendor invoices
  • Create and prepare documents and spreadsheets for accrual
  • Provides high level of customer service and assistance to clients
  • Coordinating with production, customer service department, customers, delivery truck services and the logistics operations of the plant.
  • Coordinate deliveries with company truck drivers and external trucking companies.
  • Work closely with independent truck drivers to ensure pick-up and delivery times, load weight compliance and secure loads.
  • Responsible for communicating with multiple drivers and assigning inbound and outbound loads to specific doors and staging lanes.
  • Process of inbound and outbound material shipments, including validation of shipping information, verification of receipts, systematic update of inventory records, and other inventory tasks as required.
  • Candidate will establish daily shipping schedules, plans and prioritizes daily work schedule to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Review daily shipping reports.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive skills with computers- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
  • Clerical experience and organizational skills required
  • Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must have good communication and telephone skills
  • Enjoy working in a high paced environment
