Public Works Position - Laborer/Operator

Spring Township Public Works is accepting applications for a Laborer/Operator position. Duties include road, bridge, park, building, and equipment maintenance; heavy equipment operation;
manual labor; construction work in all weather conditions;
and snow removal. Occasional overtime required.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of experience in road construction/maintenance and heavy equipment operation is preferred. Preference given to applicants with traffic signal maintenance knowledge and a Class A or B CDL with air brake
endorsement, or the ability to obtain within 10 months of hire.
Applicants must submit to a pre-employment drug and alcohol
screening as well as comply with Spring Township's
Drug and Alcohol Policy.

This is a full-time 40-hour per week position starting at $24.00/hour
or higher depending on experience, with a full benefits
package including health and retirement.
