Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, barricades, and flagging stations.
  • Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around job sites using proper flagging techniques.
  • Ensure all traffic control setups comply with state and local regulations (MUTCD or equivalent standards).
  • Monitor work zones for hazards and adjust traffic control as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with crew members, supervisors, and the public.
  • Inspect equipment and report on any unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and daily reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service and always represent the company professionally.


    Minimum Qualifications:



    • Valid Traffic Control Certification (TCS, or state-required equivalent).
    • Ability to stand for long periods, work in varying weather conditions, and lift 25-50 lbs. as needed.
    • Strong communication skills and situational awareness.
    • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
    • Prior traffic control or construction experience preferred but not required
