Client Experience Associate - Shipping/Receiving & Mail

Job Summary/Objective

• Performs a variety of moderately complex clerical and office work in support of Safeway, clients and customers. Work involves activities related to mail, shipping and receiving that include sorting incoming mail and packages, and receiving accountable packages from 3rd party vendors. Delivering and picking up mail throughout the office and satellite branches, prepping and shipping packages both domestically and internationally. Maintaining physical and electronic records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Complete metrics using standard office software. Draft and compose emails to customers, respond to customer inquiries via phone, in person and in writing.

• Work is performed under limited supervision with moderate latitude in the use of initiative. Position relies on experience and exercises independent judgement to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures.
