Our Bently Nevada Services team plays a critical role in this mission. We perform installations, configurations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and training on Bently Nevada hardware and software systems that protect and monitor a wide range of rotating machinery across Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemicals, Pulp & Paper, and other process industries.

The Design and Installation Specialist support the successful execution of field service operations by delivering highquality mechanical / machinery modification designs, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities at customer sites. This role ensures that systems are developed and deployed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with customer expectations and contractual commitments. By providing technical expertise, documentation accuracy, and strong customer engagement, the specialist helps to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

As a Design and Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing detailed AutoCAD drawing packages to allow for the proper installation of Bently Nevada transducers. This includes conceptual designs, measurements and sketches, bracket design, and machinery modifications.

  • Performing installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Bently Nevada hardware and software products and solutions at customer locations.

  • Ensuring service execution aligns with customer schedules, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.

  • Supporting Site Leads in project execution and maintaining accurate design, installation, and commissioning documentation.

  • Identifying issues proactively and taking initiative to resolve them to ensure project and service success.

  • Completing design packages, service reports, invoice packages, and administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Driving customer satisfaction through quality execution and supporting business growth initiatives.

To Be Successful in This Role You Will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), Electronics, or Engineering Technology.

  • Have familiarity with AutoCAD and drafting practices. Ability to create, review, and redline both Electrical and Mechanical Design packages.

  • Have experience using hand tools and working with machinery in a production or industrial environment.

  • Have strong technical and customer service skills with direct client interaction experience.

  • Have basic handson experience with networking components (routers, Ethernet cables, switches, etc.).

  • Have to be able to travel up to 80% of the time, including shortnotice assignments during peak seasons (including weekends as needed).

  • Have demonstrated the ability to work independently with solid problemsolving skills.

  • Have strong oral and written communication skills.
