How You'll Make an Impact

The Vice President, Technical Program Management, Commercial, MarTech, and Data is a senior technology leader responsible for driving execution excellence and Go-To-Market readiness across some of SiriusXM's most complex and commercially critical initiatives.

This role owns the predictability, orchestration, and delivery confidence of enterprise-scale programs that power customer growth, subscription management, marketing technology, analytics, and data platforms. The VP establishes the operating rhythms, governance frameworks, and execution standards that ensure strategic initiatives translate into reliable delivery and measurable business outcomes.

In parallel, this leader builds and develops a high-performing Technical Program Management organization responsible for coordinating large-scale cross-domain initiatives spanning engineering, product, marketing, and business functions.

Operating as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, this role provides visibility into delivery health, sequencing risk, cross-platform dependencies, and Go-To-Market readiness, ensuring that technical execution consistently aligns with commercial priorities, revenue commitments, and customer experience goals.

What You'll Do

Technical Program Management Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Technical Program Management organization of approximately 45 FTEs and consultants, including Domain TPMs, Workstream TPMs, and Program Leads.

  • Drive hiring, coaching, performance management, career development, and succession planning to build a world-class TPM capability.

  • Establish strong operating rhythms and program governance structures that enable reliable execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Translate complex technical realities into executive-level insights that enable confident decision- making and organizational accountability.

  • Serve as a senior escalation point to resolve cross-functional conflicts, unblock execution, and drive alignment when priorities compete.

  • Cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, operational rigor, and disciplined innovation.

  • Champion continuous improvement practices that increase delivery predictability, execution velocity, and transparency across the organization.

Enterprise Program Delivery & Cross-Domain Execution

  • Own the delivery orchestration of large-scale enterprise initiatives spanning multiple engineering organizations, product teams, and technology platforms.

  • Establish disciplined program structures that align business strategy, product direction, and technical execution across dependent workstreams.

  • Ensure programs launch with clear ownership, success criteria, governance structures, and scalable delivery practices.

  • Maintain enterprise visibility into program risks, technical dependencies, delivery confidence, and sequencing constraints across the portfolio.

  • Lead cross-functional mitigation efforts and executive-level decision forums to support informed trade-offs and timely resolution of risks.

  • Provide concise, credible reporting on program health, readiness, risks, and delivery confidence to SVP and C-suite audiences.

Go-To-Market & Commercial Delivery Alignment

  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Business, Ads, Content, and Sales leaders to ensure Go-To-Market readiness is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.

  • Translate technical milestones, dependencies, and execution risks into business-relevant timelines tied to product launches, revenue events, partner commitments, and customer experience outcomes.

  • Ensure alignment between engineering execution and commercial initiatives impacting subscription management, customer growth, marketing engagement, and platform adoption.

  • Support cross-functional coordination required to launch major initiatives that directly influence revenue, customer acquisition, and retention.

Requirements, Delivery Governance & Tooling

  • Ensure best practices and repeatable processes for requirements definition, planning, and delivery governance.

  • Drive the use of Jira and related tooling to ensure traceability from strategic roadmap initiatives to engineering execution.

  • Guide the appropriate funneling of requirements into engineering backlogs through collaboration across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and business stakeholders.

  • Lead program reviews and cross-domain planning forums to maintain alignment on priorities, delivery health, and execution expectations.

  • Ensure TPM-led governance practices enable engineering teams to deliver efficiently while maintaining enterprise-level visibility and accountability.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

  • 15+ years of experience leading large-scale technical programs and cross-functional delivery across complex technology organizations.

  • 8-10+ years of senior leadership experience building and leading program management or technical program management teams.

  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, enterprise-scale initiatives spanning multiple engineering domains and business stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, platform architectures, and cross-team engineering execution models.

  • Experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and commercial leadership teams to deliver customer-facing technology initiatives.

  • Deep experience managing cross-functional dependencies, program risk, sequencing, and large-scale delivery governance.

  • Strong technical fluency across modern software platforms, data systems, and enterprise architecture.

  • Exceptional executive communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business insights.

  • Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, highly cross-functional environments with competing priorities.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $228,000 to $335,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
