Key Tasks

Quality Management System Leadership

• Set the site's long term quality strategy aligned with corporate Quality & Regulatory goals.
  
• Ensure the QMS is robust, scalable, and capable of supporting accelerated design changes, automation, and digital transformation.
  
• Serve as Management Representative and EU PRRC, providing executive level regulatory judgment, governance, and escalation.
  

Design Transfer & Change Implementation

• Provide leadership and governance for design transfer and design change implementation.
  
• Ensure cross functional alignment (Design Assurance, Innovation, Operations, Supply Chain) on manufacturability, validation, risk control, and readiness for frequent design updates.
  
• Oversee strategic integration of design changes into production without quality or compliance risk.
  

Manufacturing Quality & Validation

• Own the strategic direction for manufacturing quality, process validation, and operational compliance.
  
• Ensure site-wide application of risk based decision making for manufacturing process changes.
  
• Oversee complex investigations, critical CAPAs, and escalated product quality issues.
  

Digital, AI & Automation Quality

• Lead the development of quality frameworks for automation, advanced analytics, and AI enabled manufacturing technologies.
  
• Oversee validation, governance, and lifecycle management of digital quality systems, ensuring compliance with global Computer
• Software Validation (CSV) and data integrity expectations.
  
• Champion the use of digital/AI insights to drive predictive quality and operational efficiency.
  

Audit, Inspection & Readiness

• Establish a proactive regulatory and audit readiness culture across the site.
  
• Lead the site's preparation and engagement with global regulatory agencies and quality system registrars
  
• Ensure timely and strategic resolution of audit findings, with communication to executive leadership.
  

Operations Partnership & Continuous Improvement

• Coown manufacturing quality performance, cost of poor quality (COPQ), and site improvement initiatives with the Plant Operations Leader.
  
• Drive largescale continuous improvement programs using Lean, Six Sigma, structured problemsolving, and global quality best practices.
  
• Influence cultural transformation where quality accelerates-not slows-innovation and operational performance.

People Leadership & Metrics

• Lead, mentor, and develop the full site Quality organization, ensuring succession planning and advanced competencies.
  
• Establish highlevel quality and compliance KPIs; present performance, risk, and trend insights to site leadership and corporate executives.
  
• Build organizational capability in digital quality, risk management, and advanced quality engineering practices.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field required.
  
• Master's degree in Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, or Business preferred.
  
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred; Master Black Belt desired.
  
• Recognized training or certification in EU PRRC responsibilities preferred.
