May be eligible for sign on bonus Unit Description Join a high performing OR team at Henry Ford West Bloomfield, home to 15 modern operating rooms and a wide range of surgical specialties. RNs support cases in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Neuro, Plastics, ENT, GYN/Urology, General, Vascular, Thoracic, and Spine-offering strong variety and skill growth.
The unit is highly advanced, featuring four robotic systems, including DaVinci platforms for General, GYN, Urology, and Colorectal surgery, plus the ROSA robot for Orthopedics. You'll work with innovative technology across nearly all service lines, excluding cardiac and transplant.

- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions
- Acts as a patient advocate while utilizing the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate goal focused, individualized, safe, age specific care for all patients including those with complex pathophysiological needs and/or psychosocial needs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- BSN preferred.
- Previous OR RN experience required.
- Looking for someone with weekend charge experience.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
