Here's what it takes to succeed with us.

• 2+ years of related experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Strong written communication skills to prepare routine reports and correspondence
• Effective verbal communication when interacting with supervisors, managers, and coworkers
• Proficiency in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Capability to calculate percentages and interpret data, including bar graphs and simple reports
• Capacity to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form
• Problem-solving skills to address operational issues involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Organizational skills to manage inventory records and maintain accurate tracking systems
• Experience or familiarity with computer systems used for inventory tracking, such as Cribware or similar software
• Ability to remain active and lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Issue calibrated measuring instruments, tools, equipment, and consumables to employees
• Maintain accurate logging records of issued and returned tools using computer systems and Cribware software
• Send calibrated measuring instruments to Quality Assurance for calibration when required
• Generate reports for upcoming calibration dates for instruments assigned to Quality Assurance
• Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment, and ensure proper tracking
• Manage and control measuring instruments tagged out of service in both physical storage and the Cribware system
• Assist with periodic or perpetual inventory of tools, equipment, and consumables
• Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects or excessive wear and report issues to supervisors
• Perform basic repairs, servicing, and lubrication of tools and equipment
• Mark and identify tools and deliver the required tools or equipment to employees
• Operate and understand barcoding systems and vending tool machines
