DeBakey VA Medical Center to hire experienced Registered Nurses for the Medical Surgical unit. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide high-quality, veteran-centered care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment focused on dignity, compassion, and clinical excellence. Contract Details Year-long commitment with option to extend up to 5 years Full-Time: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts) Night Shift: 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM Weekend Rotation: 4 weekend shifts per month (required) Holidays: May be required to work Federal holidays as scheduled Overtime: Available with pre-approval by Nurse Manager Qualifications BSN required Current, unrestricted RN license Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE) Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg within the last 5 years Current BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) Ability to pass background investigation and credentialing through VetPro Why Join Through Jackson Healthcare Government Services?
