Seeking Part-time RN position supporting the Solid Tumor Medical Oncology Team. This team specializes in the care of patients with a wide range of oncologic diagnoses, including prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers; melanoma; cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and Merkel cell carcinoma; breast cancer; and upper and lower gastrointestinal malignancies. Upper and lower GI diagnoses treated by this team include gastric, small bowel, colon, rectal, anal, pancreatic, and hepatocellular cancers, as well as cholangiocarcinoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), and neuroendocrine tumors. The Triage RN plays a key role in managing and coordinating patient care and treatment. This position collaborates closely with members of the multidisciplinary team, including Medical Assistants (MAs), Clinical Team Assistants (CTAs), Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), attending physicians, IV Therapy team members, authorization specialists, and NorDx laboratory staff, among others. This role supports timely triage, care coordination, and communication across the care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered oncology care. Experience in both oncology and triage nursing is strongly preferred for this role. However, candidates with triage experience in other specialties will also be considered. Equally important to clinical experience is a candidate's attitude, adaptability, and overall cultural fit within the team. The individual selected for this position must be flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. The practice is currently undergoing operational changes and will continue to evolve as workflows are improved and processes are optimized. A successful candidate will demonstrate resilience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to adapt to ongoing change while supporting the practice's continued growth and forward progression. This position will be located at 265 Western Ave in South Portland until April 17th, 2026 and will transition to our new location at 100 Campus Suite 108 in Scarborough on April 20th , 2026.
