Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Summer Intern to support our Finance and Accounting team. This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate accounting operations, including month-end close activities, financial analysis, and special projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing schedules, performing reconciliations, and supporting journal entry preparation. Support the team with variance analysis, including identifying key drivers and explaining the underlying causes of the variances. Assist with capital projects by performing data clean-up and validation, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across financial datasets. Requirements/Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify variances. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas). Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Should be striving to become detail-oriented, highly organized, and manage time well.
