Description

Scope of Work:






Coordinate and schedule all field service personnel. Interface with the customer to ensure



satisfaction. Coordinate parts and buyout requirements and all billing. Ensure all WPI policies



and procedures are followed.



Manages organization, productivity and assets of the Field Service Dept. to obtain maximum



efficiency and profitability. Supervises Forman, Leaderman, Administrative Assistant, and



Field Clerk



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have 5 year(s) previous experience.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Prefer applied certification(s) for the above job description.

Trade School and/or some college preferred.

Must have Safe Gulf or PEC, Water Survival Skills, and Deep Water Survival Skills.

Must be willing to travel by crew boat and/or helicopter.



Requirements: Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (SKA's)

Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its' objectives.

Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.

Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company.

Must have a current driver's license and proof of insurance. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES)

Must be able to pass and maintain alcohol and drug testing requirements as required by the Department of Transportation. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES)

Must be able to lift 50 pounds. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES)

Must be able to bend and twist several times a day.

Must be computer literate, a Windows based environment preferred (MSWord, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Must be dependable and work independently.

Must maintain good client relations.

Must maintain a professional appearance.

Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.

Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days, nights, and weekends (as necessary).

Must have the ability to travel and stay overnight.

Must have the ability to supervise, motivate, and effectively evaluate others.

Must protect the company assets and interest.

Primary Job Responsibilities:














Delegate duties of the day to day operations for field services.





Increases output, evaluates performance and tracking mileage.





Monitors the capabilities of the entire department regarding customer needs and service requirements for equipment being utilized in the territory.





Close and invoice jobs in a timely manor.





Promote safe operations of field activities.





Be available for 24-7 customer and employee support.





Interview and hire of new technicians.





Maintain a skillful level of computer knowledge to aid in internal issues with invoicing.





Coordinate technicians for jobs and communicate with customer on logistics.





Maintains close contact and good relations with customers, may include onsite visits.





Administers safety program in accordance with existing company, state and federal guidelines. Conducts a monthly safety meeting and completes required reports.





Prepares and adheres to a the company Salary Plan to provide a timely Performance Reviews and equitable increase program.





Performs other duties or functions as requested by Management.




Secondary Job Responsibilities:








Acquire parts for field technichians and ship accordingly.





Keep accurate count of core parts and credits for parts.





Mentor for internal hires in the field services group.



Promote good welfare among the company and its' divisions.

Perform other duties as assigned.



Working Conditions:

Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Weekend hours as necessary.

Position requires indoor / outdoor / offshore work.
