Description Supervisor Clinical Laboratory at Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. The Supervisor- Technical Small and Rural Hospital Labs must possess excellent technical skills and knowledge as well as the leadership abilities necessary to supervise all activities of the lab in the absence of the Laboratory Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to, orientation and training of employees, performing personnel evaluations, supervising and performing technical operations as assigned by the Laboratory Manager. The delivery of services must be performed in a highly cost-effective manner while maintaining appropriate licensures and conditions as required by CLIA, OSHA, CAP, the Quality Plan and the Laboratory Compliance Program. The incumbent must support the primary goals of the facility and its Manager to improve service to emergent and critically ill patients and, where appropriate, to meet production goals and timelines necessary to effectively compete in the outreach market. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
