What this job involves:As the Quality Management/Audit Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing quality standards across the organization, serving as both a guardian of compliance and a catalyst for continuous improvement. This role combines strategic quality framework development with hands-on auditing and assessment work. You'll collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational excellence while ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will drive process improvements, risk mitigation strategies, and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality management frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and inspections across departments to assess adherence to quality standards and regulations
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities for senior management
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with teams to implement efficiency-enhancing strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality audits, corrective actions, and compliance status
  • Design and deliver training programs to ensure employee awareness of quality standards and procedures
  • Evaluate suppliers and vendors based on quality criteria and conduct quality audits on external partners
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws and quality certifications
  • Develop and track corrective and preventive actions to address quality non-compliance issues
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to promote quality excellence and alignment with business objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in quality management, quality audits, and process improvement initiatives
  • Experience conducting quality audits and inspections with detailed reporting capabilities
  • Knowledge of quality management principles and standards, particularly ISO 9001
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization software
  • Remote work capability

Preferred:

  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor)

Estimated compensation for this position:

59,200.00 - 88,700.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
