Summary / Objective

As the Social Media & PR Manager, you will lead our brand presence across social platforms and earned media. This role blends storytelling, media relations, and real-time engagement to build credibility, drive awareness, and support business growth. In this role, you will own day-to-day social execution while developing PR strategies that elevate our voice with key audiences.

What You'll Do



  • Plan and execute a cohesive social media strategy to boost brand awareness, engagement, and growth across platforms such as Bluesky, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
  • Develop and manage content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, and company moments
  • Write compelling copy and collaborate with design/video teams on creative assets
  • Manage community engagement, including responding to comments, DMs, and relevant conversations
  • Track performance, analyze trends, and optimize content using platform analytics and tools
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, emerging formats, and cultural moments
  • Coordinate with our agency to develop and manage PR campaigns, including press releases, executive bylines, talking points and media pitches to secure coverage high quality media coverage
  • Develop and execute PR strategies to support brand awareness, thought leadership, and product announcements
  • Coordinate media briefings, interviews, and coverage tracking
  • Support crisis communications and reactive PR when needed
  • Monitor media coverage and share insights with internal stakeholders
  • Partner closely with marketing, product, leadership, and external agencies
  • Ensure consistent messaging across social, PR, and broader brand communications
  • Support campaigns, events, and partnerships with integrated social + PR plans
  • Actively models and promotes Identity Digital's core values through day-to-day interactions, behaviors, and decision-making
  • Other duties as assigned


Who You Are / What You Bring



  • Minimum 4 years of experience in social media, PR, or communications (in-house or agency)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience managing brand social media accounts for a company or product
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for tone and audience
  • Experience using social scheduling, monitoring, and analytics tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience in tech, SaaS, digital products, or B2B brands
  • Familiarity with executive thought leadership programs
  • Experience working with external PR or social agencies
  • Basic understanding of SEO/AEO, content marketing, or influencer marketing
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization as needed
  • Reliable transportation to the workplace


Physical Requirements



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times


Salary Range

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $105,000 (flexibility based on experience) plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate's qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.

US team members (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance which includes company contributions to a Health Savings Accounts. Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, team members can enroll in the company's 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly, increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally, you get 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents, 12 weeks for others. Also, there's an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for qualifying expenses.
