Description

Chevo is hiring an experienced Project Manager - IT Oversight, to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and becoming a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to advance the agency's mission by ensuring efficient operations with a focus on continuous improvement. The individual will provide Program/Project Management, Strategic Business Management, Business Process Analysis and Improvement, and Business Intelligence Analysis and Visualization support for IT projects and programs, with a focus on ServiceNow.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Lead program/project management support, aligned to PMI practices, Agile methods, and the DoD Acquisition Framework

* Manage governance activities: scheduling, agenda/materials, facilitation, note taking, editing, and publishing; coordinate with senior leaders

* Develop and maintain core PM artifacts (e.g., PM-Plan, WBS, risk plan, schedule, agendas, minutes) and oversee the triple constraints

* Provide mission-level analysis, translate stakeholder needs into actionable requirements, and deliver studies, scenarios, and reports

* Support major acquisition programs and operate in accordance with DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, and related 5000/8000 series issuances

* Administer and facilitate IPTs, working groups, and stakeholder forums throughout the lifecycle

* Drive business process analysis/improvement and business intelligence/visualization to support data-driven decisions

* Prepare professional written and visual artifacts (policies, procedures, how-to guides, charts/graphs)

* Ensure compliance with Government quality assurance expectations.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or higher

* Active Secret clearance or higher

* Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or 10 years of demonstrated program/project management, with verifiable experience)

* 5 years of DoD experience (at least 10 years of verifiable DoD experience without a bachelor's degree)

* 5 years of DoD Software Development Project and Program Management specific experience

* Minimum 1-2 years demonstrated knowledge of utilizing ServiceNow

* 5 years demonstrated program and/or project management experience

* 5 years demonstrated knowledge developing Program/Project Management (PM) documentation (e.g., Project management plan, work breakdown structure, risk management plan, project schedule, meeting agendas, meeting minutes)

* 5 years demonstrated knowledge utilizing Agile Frameworks, including knowledge of key practices such as user-stories, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog management, prioritizing tasks, adapting to changing requirements and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team

* Must be able to multitask by managing more than a single project at a time, overseeing the activities of project team members, while developing or reviewing project deliverables.

Desired Qualifications:

* ServiceNow ecosystem experience with ESD modules (CSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, WSD) and products (APM, FSM, SAM, SecOps for Devices, IRM/Integration Hub, App Engine)

* Deep working knowledge of DoD acquisition environments (e.g., BCAC, Software Acquisition Pathway, ACAT programs) and execution under the DoD 5000/8000 series

* Business process improvement using Six Sigma (DMAIC); development of processes, tools, templates, and metrics

* Data/BI and visualization skills to operationalize performance measures for leadership decision-making

* Experience leading IPTs/working groups in complex, multi-stakeholder DoD settings with strong executive-level communication and change-management acumen.

SALARY RANGE: $120K-160K (subject to change)
