As a Security Officer, you will greet and verify visitors, manage entry and exit points, check credentials, document activity, and communicate clearly with site teams to support smooth operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine rounds as needed, and provide customer-focused service while acting with integrity in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture built on teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing vehicle access, and maintaining accurate access logs.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems and report irregular activity per post orders, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuations, shelter-in-place actions, and spill or fire response procedures as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, process areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues for reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA Issued TWIC.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
