As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out Allied Universal protocols, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including timely notification to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity, with working conditions that may vary by post assignment.
• Monitor access points, corridors, and other common areas, assisting with directing foot traffic and/or supporting visitor management procedures as directed by site policy.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation for security-related incidents, patrol activities, and/or unusual conditions, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
