You will stay highly visible, check doors and perimeters, support access points, and provide customer-focused assistance to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access control points by observing gate traffic, checking identification and/or credentials as required, directing visitors and drivers to designated locations, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or local emergency services when appropriate and completing required notifications.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate unusual conditions to supervisors and site contacts using approved logs and/or communication tools.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
