As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-traffic retail location, you will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests and team members with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or personal vehicle as required by policy while responding to calls, documenting observations, and supporting a caring, integrity-driven team that is agile, reliable, and innovative.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, exits, backroom areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential theft activity, and policy violations, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, report writing, and coordination with local law enforcement when needed.
• Control access to restricted areas, assist with closing and opening routines as assigned, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
