As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations, report concerns, and work closely with teammates to respond to needs with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of public areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, check identification and/or credentials when required, and assist with visitor direction, line management, and general information requests.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident reports, communicate via radio and/or phone, and coordinate with site management and local public agencies as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
