Job Description




As a Security Officer - Financial Site - Access Control in Stafford, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a welcoming customer experience. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving alarms and/or calls for assistance, documenting actions taken, and notifying appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access points by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in, and/or verifying authorization for restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, and communicate noteworthy activity to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
