Security Officer - Aquarium Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Aquarium Site Patrol in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with residents, visitors, and your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies, and completing access and visitor support tasks as assigned.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Respond to alarms, resident calls for service, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate notifications to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and hazards, and complete timely written reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation.
• Assist with traffic and parking observations, community rule reminders, and de-escalation of minor disputes, escalating issues through established post orders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
