Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Checkpoint Driver in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and assist visitors and/or vendors with clear communication and customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, document activity, and report concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy requirements, supported by Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control for the property by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes as directed, and maintaining entry logs.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems for irregular activity and report concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with property management and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
