Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver Preferred in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting visible patrols at chemical and petrochemical locations. This is a driving post, so you will patrol the area by vehicle, interact with staff and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verify identification as required by site policies.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
