As a Unarmed Security Guard - Commercial Site in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and service requests, document activity using a computer and/or tablet, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, contractors, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter checks, parking areas, and common spaces to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe building activity, verifying credentials when required and/or directing visitors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and documenting actions taken in accordance with post orders.
• Complete routine reports and logs, communicate notable conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related operations as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
