As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rover in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and office location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points such as doors, gates, and loading areas, verifying authorization where required and assisting with orderly entry and exit during normal operations and special events.
• Complete routine reports and shift logs, report maintenance hazards and/or policy concerns to appropriate personnel, and support site protocols related to packages, deliveries, and data center or equipment areas as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
