As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver - Weekends in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and document observations and activities. You will respond to calls, support access control, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, yards, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing foot and vehicle traffic according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation, and report maintenance issues, policy concerns, and unusual activity through established communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
