Security Officer - Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Attapulgus, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with professionalism and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial chemical location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, process-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions such as open doors, damaged fencing, suspicious packages, and/or abnormal activity, and report concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, directing traffic, and/or coordinating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate observations and/or recommendations to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
