As a Security Officer -Logistics Screener - Day Shifts in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by conducting screening at entry points, monitoring assigned areas, and performing routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet team members and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and document activity with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries at designated checkpoints using approved screening methods and maintain a professional, respectful screening process.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic flow for pedestrian and vehicle access as needed.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, radios, and screening equipment; document observations, access activity, and unusual conditions in logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have x-ray screening experience, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
