Job Description




As a Security Officer - Part-Time Commercial Patrol in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks when needed, communicate clearly with team members and guests, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and team members by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical situations, and/or property concerns, and promptly notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the dining area, entrances, restrooms, exterior walkways, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns to report.
  • Monitor access points and observe guest flow, delivery activity, and closing procedures, helping to control loitering and/or unauthorized entry while maintaining a professional, service-focused presence.
  • Complete required reports such as incident documentation, shift activity logs, and/or patrol observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
