Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedReal Estate Investment Analystto join our investment team. This role will be responsible for underwriting, analyzing, and conducting due diligence on multifamily and industrial real estate acquisitions and developments. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of real estate investment fundamentals, and experience evaluating multifamily and industrial properties.

Job Responsibilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive financial models in Excel to evaluate potential acquisitions, developments, and dispositions.
- Perform market research to analyze investment opportunities, including rent and expense comparisons, cap rate trends, and supply-demand factors.
- Develop investment memorandums and presentations for the internal investment committee.
- Provide assistance throughout all stages of the acquisition process, including deal structuring, financing, and closing.
- Track asset performance, prepare quarterly reports, and offer recommendations to enhance value.
- Cultivate relationships with brokers, lenders, and other industry professionals to identify and assess investment opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in real estate investment, development, brokerage, private equity, or related roles
- Proficiency in financial modeling and underwriting in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of multifamily and industrial real estate market dynamics
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
- Experience working with real estate transaction documents, loan agreements, and leases is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with real estate debt and equity structuring.
* Knowledge of real estate investment management software (Yardi, CoStar, etc.).

Essential Job Function
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk while working on a computer, reviewing financial documents, and analyzing data using software applications and spreadsheets.
- Capable of viewing and interpreting information on computer screens for prolonged periods, including detailed financial reports, spreadsheets, and data visualizations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person during meetings, presentations, and collaborations with team members and stakeholders throughout the office environment.
