Job Description Summary

The Sr. Manager, HRIS - Reporting & Analytics is responsible for leading the strategy, development, governance, and optimization of enterprise-wide HR reporting and analytics within Workday. This role oversees the reporting team and partners closely with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver insights that drive informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and data integrity. The Sr. Manager ensures delivery of high-quality dashboards, scorecards, and advanced analytics that support workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. Additionally, this role plays a key part in responding to HR data audits and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Position Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the organization's Workday reporting and analytics strategy aligned with HR and business priorities.

  • Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert on Workday reporting, Prism Analytics, dashboards, and data visualization.

  • Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making across the HR function and business partners.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Workday reporting analysts and data specialists.

  • Set performance expectations, manage workload, and foster continuous learning in Workday capabilities and analytics best practices.

  • Establish a culture of quality, innovation, and customer-centric service.

Reporting & Dashboard Development

  • Create scalable reporting solutions to meet both ongoing and ad hoc needs across HR Operations, Talent, Total Rewards, Recruiting, and business leadership.

  • Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of Workday reports, dashboards, pivots, BIRT reports, and Prism datasets.

  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Partner with HRIS, IT, and Data Governance teams to ensure data structures, integrations, and definitions support accurate reporting and analytics.

  • Implement reporting standards, documentation, metadata definitions, and version control processes.

  • Troubleshoot data quality issues and lead root-cause analyses.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a strategic partner to HR leadership in defining KPIs and analytics packages for workforce insights.

  • Collaborate on dashboard design for areas such as DEI, talent acquisition, retention, compensation, and organizational health.

  • Translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications.

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate emerging Workday features, releases, and industry best practices to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and automate manual reporting activities.

  • Champion Workday adoption by enabling users through training, documentation, and data literacy tools.

Requirements, Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR systems, analytics, or HR operations.
  • 5+ years of experience managing teams or leading cross-functional reporting initiatives and building Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, Dashboards, Calculated Fields).
  • Strong understanding of HR data, processes, and lifecycle.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the latest Workday products, features, and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with data quality tools and best practices.
  • Blend of strategic and tactical thinking, creative and analytic reasoning, a deep knowledge of human-centered design, a data-driven decision mindset, and an interest in the construction/rental industry; and how decisions impact business operations
  • Passion for identifying and solving business problems, and proven ability to prioritize high value opportunities
  • A bias to action and a proven track record of delivering business solutions
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail; ability to produce high data quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Global experience.
  • Experience with Workday Prism Analytics and Discovery Boards.
  • Workday Pro Certification(s) in Reporting or HCM.
  • Experience working in a large, complex enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools (preferred but not required).
Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range: $130,315.00 - 179,183.40

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following paid time off from work, subject to Sunbelt's policies (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement):
