About the Role Our client is seeking a dependable and patientfocused Patient Services Agent to support a busy medical call center or frontoffice environment. This is a nonclinical, administrative role ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients over the phone, thrives in a structured setting, and is comfortable with repetitive tasks. If you have experience working in healthcare administration and understand how HMOs operate within a medical group or health system, this could be a great fit. What You'll Be Doing * Answering inbound calls from patients and providing professional, friendly assistance * Performing accurate data entry related to patient demographics and medical information * Verifying and updating patient records and insurance information * Supporting patient services functions within a call center or medical front office * Assisting patients with general questions while following established workflows and guidelines What We're Looking For * 2+ years of experience in a healthcare administrative, medical front office, or call center setting * Comfortable with repetitive tasks and highvolume phone work * Clear understanding of HMO insurance and how it functions within a medical group or health system * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes * Excellent customer service and communication skills Required Skills * Data Entry * Customer Service * Medical Terminology * Patient Demographics Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Glendale, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
