Responsible for end-to-end implementation across locations, including AP replacement (2-3 per store), SSID configuration, wireless troubleshooting, and centralized monitoring and management using FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer. Supported broader network operations and performance through Fortinet-based SD-WAN integration and ongoing incident resolution. Additional Skills & Qualifications Execute a store-by-store wireless AP refresh and migration from Meraki33 to Fortinet APs, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations. Install and configure 2-3 access points per store, including mounting, provisioning, and post-cutover validation. Build and maintain wireless configurations including SSIDs, security settings, VLAN tagging, and RF optimization based on site needs. Perform hands-on troubleshooting of wireless connectivity, authentication issues, roaming performance, and device association problems. Coordinate migration cutovers, validated coverage and performance, and document outcomes per store. Managed network device configuration and policy deployment via FortiManager; support visibility, reporting, and incident triage using FortiAnalyzer. Support Fortinet SD-WAN connectivity considerations where applicable, ensuring wireless infrastructure aligned with WAN performance and stability. Produce clear documentation, standard operating procedures, and site deployment notes to improve consistency and reduce repeat incidents.
