First Coast Security Solutions provides security services nationwide. We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager for the Library of Congress located in Washington, D.C and the surrounding areas. This role will assist with operational needs, staffing, and compliance with contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily security operations for multiple posts and shifts to ensure consistent coverage.
  • Assist with supervising security personnel, including scheduling, performance management, and staff development.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal contract requirements, company policies, and security standards.
  • Support strong client relationships and serve as the principal liaison for contract communications.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality-assurance reviews.
  • Assist with coordinating staffing levels, hiring needs, onboarding, and training processes.
  • Prepare reports, incident summaries, and operational updates as required.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges promptly and professionally.
  • Will perform duties as assigned or during coverage needs.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
  • Assist the Project Manager in responding to operational issues, incidents, and emergencies.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as required to support operations.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Have a fluent command of the English language for both oral and written communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
  • Supervisory experience in a security environment.

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of security management on federal or government contracts; or military leadership experience
  • Must have experience managing security personnel, scheduling, and operational staffing.
  • Must have experience of responding and managing security incidents and emergencies.

Education

  • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
