Responsibilities

  • Provides clerical support to the department to contribute to an effective and organized department.
  • Provides quality customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Performs scheduling activities to maximize resources and meet customer needs.
  • Coordination of outreach location and credentialing as needed with locations. Oversees outreach studies to ensure that they are processed in appropriate amount of time.
  • Coordinates and provides administrative support to the Administrative Director of Cardiovascular Service Line.
  • Serves as a resource for department and organization regarding Medical Staff accreditation and regulatory compliance.
  • Responsible for the outreach credentialing services special emphasis on credentialing, appointment, and reappointment processes for both medical staff and allied health professional staff.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent
  • Positive interpersonal relationship skills required. Must possess ability to proofread, perform basic math skills, and some experience with computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)

Preferred Job Requirments:

  • Experience with EMR
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
