Must be available to work four 10-hour days Front and back-end schedules. Schedules will be determined based on business needs. Night shifts are also available. Location of candidate is TBD but will be within 10-15mins of PDX130 - DC Umatilla OR US The Level 1 Data Center Technician supports the daily operations of the data center in Umatilla, Oregon. This role focuses on maintaining server hardware, ensuring uptime, and assisting with infrastructure tasks that keep services running reliably. It's a handson position ideal for someone who enjoys technical problemsolving, structured processes, and working in a fastpaced environment. Hardware & Infrastructure Support Install, troubleshoot, and replace server components including drives, memory, power supplies, and system boards. Perform diagnostics on failed hardware and document findings. Execute physical racking, stacking, and cabling of equipment following standards. Assist with network device installation and basic connectivity checks. Operations & Monitoring Respond to support tickets and incident alerts within defined SLAs. Conduct routine data center walkthroughs to identify issues such as alarms, environmental irregularities, or hardware failures. Monitor and maintain inventory of parts, tools, and consumables. Support preventive maintenance activities on electrical and mechanical systems under supervision. Security & Compliance Follow all physical security protocols, including access control and visitor escorting. Maintain accurate documentation for asset tracking, work performed, and audit requirements. You support and share knowledge of these technologies with team members. You possess basic to intermediate system administration skills and work autonomously to resolve server issues. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You know how to take direction when given paying attention to all details involved. You work well with a team. You are receptive to feedback and able to adjust performance and behavior as required for the position. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Umatilla, OR. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
